I hate it. I dont like girls wearing that thick red lipstick. its a turn off for me (as a guy). I mostly like anything else except for emo/goth black lipstick as well. why do you girls wear it. and fellow guys are u the same as well?

shes not emo or scene she just has that beautiful vintage look to her. but from what ive seen on any one else its horrible. |

I think red lipstick looks good on some girls {Like Scarlett Johannson or whatever her last name is.}..I love it myself {Even though I don't wear it..I don't even wear colors, I prefer clear gloss.} because it's so classic & classy. It reminds me of the 40's.

I don't wear red/black lipstick either.
But I think it's retarded that you just don't like girls with that type of lipstick. But I doubt that you'd ever walk up to a girl with red/black lisptick and get to know her. Boy, wouldn't you be missin' out. |

I don't like lipstick at all.
I don't see many people under the age of 30 that wear it unless they're going out on a special occasion or have recitals/shows. Red lipstick in particular reminds me of my grandmother. It is quite possibly the only color I've ever seen her wear; she looks good in it though, so I have no complaints. |

Some girls can wear the bright red lipstick. I think it's usually girls who are more on the pale side. Others with a darker skin tone probably do better with light pinks or something not as vibrant.
Personally, I don't even wear lipstick. Lipgloss or lipcolor, I'll wear. I usually go with light pinks or corral-ish colors. |

Yup Marilyn Monroe is the only person who could flawlessly pull it off.
It doesn't really look good if you have thin lips or don't have the right color for your complexion. Eh, I think it takes a certian look that you have to be born with for it to not look stupid. |

well. it works if you have light blonde or medium blonde hair. and very light skin and blue eyes.
i do. so sometimes if the outfits right i'll wear it. and it looks good. otherwise its gross. |

I'm so jelous of those who can pull it off. I own red lipstick but never wear it, unless I'm on stage for dancing. But agree, only few look good with it and I wish I was one of them!!!

I think it's tacky if you're younger then 20 and wear it. But I saw this Tyra episode, and you just have to get the right kind of red for your skin tone, and it looks good.

Red lipstick, I'm talking about candy apple glam red can be gorgeous and totally sexy. It's how it's worn. If one is going to paint their lips, they shouldn't be doing much else with their face. Too me, it's tacky if someone is wearing a hideous amount of makeup AND red lipstick.

The shade needs to match the skin definitely. I see a lot of pale girls wearing bright dark red lipstick. It looks really bad!

i'd look like a total idiot if i wore red lipstick i stick to tanish lipgloss you know the ones that look all natural and pink/peachish colors red is just to ugh
 !! i dont know unless you are a cheerleader that HAS to wear that or you are on stage .... dont wear it it looked fine in the 60's i think it was becuase that was what everyone wore then but unless it looks goos on you dont wear it i personally think that the natural colors look best because they are more of what you really are ... yea it does look on"Marilyn Monroe, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani..they all pull it off." but not on most people espcially some really pale people unless you are one of the above... if you are gonna wear that red junk then wear it like you r supposed to dont put a gallon on i think it looks straight if you have very dark shim (sometimes) it all really does depend on the person in my opinon though i hate it
