This is a hard question.
But i think Gwen Stefani, in a way, because when her songs get in my head they're hard to get out. Same with Fergie, but at least they're more fun to sing with your friends..hehe

Sometimes I think Fergie was just on BEP to gain publicity so she can start her own career. BEP was a group before Fergie. XD

Well, Gwen comes from being the backbone of No Doubt.
Black Eyed Peas didn't necessarily need Fergie to become successful.

Also, Gwen Stafani's career is a little more developed than Fergie's at the moment.

Though, I wish both of them would have stayed in their bands.

Much more talented then Fergie, and her clothing line is hot.

I think Fergie is worse... Gwen actually has some interesting, meaningful and unique songs. Plus she has other successes like her LAMB clothing line. Fergie's kind of trying too hard with the whole uber-sexiness. rolleyes.gif

Fergie, by far. She has a terribly big ego - both singles that have come out by her have been about how hot she is, and that would maybe be forgivable if she was actually attractive.

Eh? How can you even compare the two?

You'd have to completely compartmentalize:

Vocal Talent - Fergie is better of the two, by FAR. I don't know why she insists on rapping (if that's what it's called) because she has a lovely and strong voice.

Style - Please. Fergie has no class what-so-ever. I don't care if she isn't "promiscuous," she's tacky. Gwen takes the cake on this one.

Performance - While Fergie has more talent in the vocal arena, Gwen is a better and more engaging performer (and hell, she doesn't urinate during a performance, which is a plus).

Songs - Black Eyed Peas, despite myself, are pretty damn good. They're entertaining, I can't help it. Fergie, she's painful to watch, painful to listen to when she's solo. No Doubt was so different than what Gwen does solo, it's hard to really compare the two. Gwen is less painful to listen to, however, because at least she's *trying* to be creative.

I've read comparisons between "Hollaback Girl" and "Fergilicious." Both of them are wretched. If you want some good style, originality and fun in a female rap-type song, check out "Rapture," by Blondie. Debbie Harry was the sh*t back in the day. These ladies have nothing on her.

Because she has her own style. Everyone is the pop industry copy.
I don't listen to much pop anymore. Cause most of it is horrible.
But Gwen has her own style not just in music, but clothing too.
She is pretty. But that is for like what a 40 year old?, or whatever.
So yeah Gwen.

However Fergie's songs are very cathchy.
But Gwens are too.
So they are both good to dance to.
I'd just rather dance to Gwen.

So..they sometimes even out..
and I would listen to Fergie ove Gwen.
But generally Gwen is better for my taste.

Fergie, I don't either of them that much. But I just don't like her songs-theyre catchy but in the end it doesn't make me want to download her song on my mp3 player.
