I currently have a free accound on livejournal.
I recently located a custom S2 layout based off of Smooth Sailing. (which can be found here) I understand that somehow I need to get the code provided into a .css document (which I assume I can do with notepad by just changing the file extension from .txt to .css), upload the .css file and plug in a link to the .css file somewhere in livejournal's "easy-to-use wizard". I have searched many S2 communities on livejournal but I have been unable to find a good, up to date explination of exactly what I'm supposed to plug in to the wizard (and where these things are) nor a reference to a free website which hosts .css files. If anyone on here can help with either (or both) of these dilemmas I would be very thankful. |

ah, you don't actually need to use a .css file.
under custom options, go to custom css, and follow these settings: use layout's stylesheet - Yes Use layout's stylesheet(s) when including custom external stylesheet: No Use external stylesheets: no Custom Stylesheet: paste the CSS HERE. so, all you have to do is go right click, select all, copy, and paste it into the 'custom stylesheet' textbox. i hope that was understandable |
