1) “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”-Prince Gautama Siddharta

2) "There are two types of people--those who come into a room and say, 'Well, here I am!' and those who come in and say, 'Ah, there you are.'"-Frederick Collins

3) "“The responsibility of a leader is to bring those that are under his direction from where they are now to where they have never been.”-James Mendel

4) "The greatest and most important problems of life are all fundamentally insoluble. They can never be solved but only outgrown."-Carl Jung

5) "In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure."-Bill Cosby

^Those five quotes I have listed are one of my favorite quotes of all time that really got my attention. Do you disagree with any of those quotes? If you don't, which quote do you respect the most out of the ones I listed?

#1 & #5 sound really good esp. #5. But overall all the quotes you listed were really influencial. Btw, I like your icon/picture on your signature. Haha, creative.

is my fave...there is a song that is sorta like this...its like...go light your candle for all to see it...something something something...and go light your world. its a fantastic song, just can't remember all the words. but anyway...yea, like...one person can change to world if they get other people involved. i like that quote a lot...makes me feel special...like i could change the world lol...but yea...thats my 2 cents

#2 and #5.

But I don't really get #2. mellow.gif It just sounds inspirational. Doesn't mean that I know what it's trying to tell me. shrug.gif

It is the most realistic and I can relate to this more than any of the other quotes listed.

I like #1 the best... maybe just because it sounds the most wise, but i think it's a really basic truth that most people overlook.

I've heard #1 somewhere else before. It's a pretty good quote.

#2 was probably the one that really stuck out to me, just because it was different.

I actually like all of these though.
