you must construct additional pylons, duh...

I remember there was some way to find out what each svchost.exe did, so if I come across it, I'll get back at you.

I don't think that's the exact article I read, but it should be helpful anyway.

fixed it through my firewall... i knew it was a backdoor opener.
yeah, since i have service pack I i'm missing a lot of patches, so random spyware and malware can easily enter my computer. just tweaked my firewall, everythings running a-okay... but i can't play cs matches now! i lag with it on... so hopefully turning it off for scrims and matches will do fine.

for htose that have thes ame problem as me, download zonealarm, configure it, make sure SVHOST ACCESS IS BLOCKED. and only disable the firewall when you have to, no more than one to two hours tops. since zonealarm temporary hides your ip address, malicious spyware and adware could be tricked for a bit even with your firewall off.

it shouldnt matter if you have alot of svchosts they are not viruses/backdoors though some can be if you downloaded/visited any pages that have hidden files installed in ur pc, as for the svchosts they are a generic host for services that ruin on ur pc also known to run services for your DLL's only blocked those that are found to have viruses but don't block the ones that are safe i have 5-6 svchosts if you block them your dll's may malfunction.
