So today there was some sort of terroristic threat at my school. Someone wrote a note saying something about shooting it up and a big plan which probably included explosives because they always do. It was sort of good because i got out of swimming, but now no one can bring in bags to school tomarrow and everyone has to be searched ect. This happens a lot at my school because a bunch of punk ass kids want to get out of classes. This is like the 3rd time this year. Urg it gets me mad becuase I live in the "country" and all these kids wanna be "gangstas" so they pull this crap...

does this happen a lot at other schools or is it just mine?

Never really happened to me...
the most serious thing that happened (and this was at my elementary school) was that some gang members came to the drop off area with knives (supposedly)...and it was like, after school. =P

Nothing happens in my school.. There's only 400 kids and it's a specialized high school. We don't even have detention!

But we have fire drills every once in a while because a teacher burnt a bagel or whatever..

Lol at dances they implemented a new rule about freaking cause people were getting too sexual with each other. Bags, purses, anything brought into the dance floor/gym has to be searched for...weapons.

And this morning they made an anoncement over the intercom where they said that the administration ordered 5 alcohol-measuring devices to check everyone's blood for alcohol before going into the dance...which will be implemented for the next dance.

So lame.

Haha. This happened at least once a month in my old school in Bulgaria. People would phone the school and be like "there's a bomb in the school. Get the kids out". Then the police would come and search the entire school, blah blah blah, and by the time they were done we would have to go home anyway.

I liked it :)

ooo, yeah, at my school, they recently had this war against the mexicans and the blacks. it was sort of hectic. we had the gang unit for two weeks, sniper bag shooters on the roof. school qould put us in lockdown..

In richmond, it would be the asians vs. the blacks. or the mexicans vs. blacks. i see people get jumped after school on thier way home.. crazy stuff. they had to call the real police to keep order in school. . . some people even get shot around the school.. richmond ain't no joke.

Oh. Yay!
So it's not just my school that does this kind of stupid stuff.
We've had a lockdown once because a dude was wandering around the school. I liked it though because in our lockdowns we have to get all bunched up in a corner with the lights off & I just happened to be sitting in the lap of my crush for around an hour. It was awesome.

I live in a place where people think that they are so "gangsta" that they can murder people, rape people, terrorize people and have bomb threats all in one day.

This happened to my friend's school like a week after Virginia Tech. There were bomb threats, then someone also brings a gun to school with it.

-In Elementary, we spent the whole school day next to the fences by the creek like a fire drill because some punk called and said 'We are gonna get you' or something. Yeah, of course the school fell for it. -_-

-In 5th grade, a guy in my class brought knives and all that to class and get expelled. I sat near him so that was kind of creepy. They school didn`t do much like a lock down or anything but they did expelled him. :O

-In Middle school, some kid saw a guy with a gun outside? And we didn`t do much.

-In 8th grade, some old guy pulled next to our bball courts during lunch and said weird things. He U-turned and started doing dirty hand signals to my classmates, lol. Later, he came back with a camera and started taking pictures of them, haha. They reported the vice principal but all he did was stand next to the fence the day after. It was funny, though. :P

It's okay, some girls wrote a stupid note in a bathroom like "The end is near... all the girls who picked on nerds will die." And we had cops and a ton of crap go on. x_x

Not to mention - my school expelled the guy who created the CS map.

nope. we don't get any of those kind of threats. my school is extremely small..

it goes from 9th-12th grades, and only about 200 kids in each class, so basically we only have around 800-900 in my school. none the less, we are a catholic school .. so we have more rules & restrictions.

An occasion like this happened at my school around the time of the VA Tech tragedies. The kid was like Im going to make this into the next VA Tech,I mean the school got shut down the next day because in the note he had wrote it stated that there were bombs in the school and no one would be able to find them.
Im not gonna lie,I was just a little startled because you know some people in this world are crazy.
But yea.
Everything was Ok.

Haha wow your school really takes threats seriously.

I remember one of my friends had his watch in his bag and it started beeping and the teacher thought it was a bomb, so she took his bag, threw it outside and called the cops only to have them search it and find nothing inside. ermm.gif What a waste of time and adrenaline.

We don't really have this kind of problem at my high school. A rival school tagged up our Fine Arts building a couple of days before a football game with them last year.

As for bomb threats and stuff like that, they're pretty much nonexistent.

At my school a couple years ago (when I wasn't attending) sime seniors would set fire to the school or set off the alarms or something so people could get out of class. Nothing serious like threats. A good prank is always welcomed at my school (by the students at least). There are too many kids at my school to do the whole bag checking thing.

The police got prank called twice, once from a stolen cell phone and another from a payphone.

The first time police busted into classrooms with guns and searched everyones backpack and patted them down.

The second time there was supposedly a gun in the band room so a bunch of police came with all these guns.

laugh.gif That seems hilarious to me.

My school takes threats kind of serious, I suppose, but we don't have many threats. People just do stupid things at my school.

Like... last year, there was some drug dealing and this one kid got a lot of pot from another kid who was new to the school, but didn't pay him or whatever, so the new kid had a roll of quarters in his hand and punched the other guy, breaking his cheek bone and eye socket. He had to get air lifted by helicopter to a hospital like an hour or two away. The new kid got suspended, I think.
