Sounds like she does have a thing for you, but I guess last time you asked, it was so awkward she was too overwhelmed to say yes.
I guess you guys just gotta learn to be even more comfortable and open to each other. Moved to Relationships |

Just talk to her about it.
You know some girls are just overly flirtacious and some aren't aware of the fact that they are being so flirtacious. When a girl flirts it doesn't automatically mean she likes you. Especially if you two are really good friends...she might just be really comfortable with you - comfortable enough to flirt with you because she knows nothing will come of it. What things does she say to make you think she likes you? A lot of girls say things to their really close guy friends that they would probably say to a boyfriend too like "I'm so lucky you're in my life" or "I don't know what I would do without you" and things along those lines. That doesn't necessarily mean she likes you. If you guys are really good friends and you tell her you like her and she doesn't reciprocate those feelings, I'm sure your friendship won't be ruined or awkward. I think you should just let her know you like her (because there is always a possibility she might like you back) and see what happens. Tell her you don't want to ruin the friendship but you just thought she should know. |

She might be flirting and acting like you're going out because she's afraid of having a real relationship, so she's fronting to other people like you have one. It's natural to want to stay friends when you are best friends with someone, because if the relationship messes up then it gets weird to be just friends again (usually). But ask her about it again and ask why she does that. If it's because she likes you too, then ask her to think about going out again. But if she doesn't like you after all, she shouldn't play with your feelings and thoughts like that by flirting.
