Yeah. It's deffinately not a friendly term. Maybe nasty as in slutty. Or nasty as in not kind. I guess it can be pretty universal.

Lets see I'm trying to break up a 2 year relationship (Derrick and Bobbie) so I could go out with the guy, I owe Alex 2 frenches. I'm supposed to be trying to hook back up with my recent ex, Matt.
