Omg i forgot..... i was playing first to 21 ahah this convo caUGHT me off guard.....
I play Violin for orchestra...juss started.. I play Percussion for band... just started but Ive been playing guitar as my favorite instrument. and finally started learning theory. its confusing |

That's a really competitive intrument haha. Yeah, theory is confusing. I started just last year cause it was a requirement to be in my teacher's studio (along wtih like 238942394 other things...we had to write essays too wtf) and I was really behind other people. I finished level2 theory book in one month, skipped level3 book, then finished level4 and 5 theory books in one month (torture), and passed the test a week after that. Level 5 passed YESS! |

if i had the patience to do that Id do that...lol I like working on improv..builds alot of creativity.. Its hard to use theory in Improv I tried...like connecting notes and shyt. which notes are strong and weak. making phrases...yeah u get the picture.
