Well I use to have a mac, and there was incredible software called "Garageband" which I know you mac users are familiar with, any who I now have windows and garageband doesn't come for windows (duh.) So i was wondering if theres any software like Garageband for windows, with the some of the same features for example how you can put in one instrument and make it sound like a different instrument (which is what i'm mostly looking for)

if you can help out, thanks. biggrin.gif

I don't remember if Audacity could or not, but it's worth a try. It's really good.

And I think Adobe Audition does, but I'm not sure because I've never used it before.

There are also some really good alternatives here:
