Well, I hate rejection so if a guy asks me out, I just say yes and if I don't like them, I learn to. I currently got rejected though and it kinda made me blow steam because the guy said he likes me. _dry.gif

"I like you too...but only as a friend, and nothing more. Sorry but I really don't see us in a relationship right now...." something along those lines.

Its not that hard.

"I normally don't do this with men I've known for such little time, but Brandon, I'd like to see where a relationship could take us."
"Um.... no.
"...."
"Yea... no."
"Bad timing?"
"No, not that. You're very attractive. I'm just not interested."
"Why not?"
"You're not my type."

God I only recently learned how to reject people that ask me out.
And I'm still uncertain about my method.. blink.gif
If I had the guts I would most definately want to say.

"sorry.. I just don't think of you that way.."

though somewhere in my mind the words
I actually want to say would usually be,

1) ain't interested kid.
2) eh, the thought about you + me scares me
3) Okaaaaay.. Now that's awkward..

>.> usually it's friends or close male friends
that usually ask making it extermely difficult.
Espcially if it's face to face I just choke up
and just go with the nodding and the yes-ing
and the hoping that it works out or dies quickly. whistling.gif

It's a lot better to say what you really want to say upfront instead of saying something else and allowing what isn't being said to do all the alking.

used most recently, when the guy asked me in a NOTE
(c'mon, we are 18...get some guts):

"I thank you for the compliment.
I know it takes a lot of courage to ask a girl out,
because I know rejection is a key factor.
so it means a lot that you were brave enough to ask.
however, I am sorry to say that I do not view you in that way
and can only think of you as a friend.
I am sorry again."

I had known the guy 2 days when he asked me out...
and I didn't even know his last name...
but he became my "stalker" so I don't talk to him anymore...
