Relient K [DIV], Life After Death and Taxes Options

New DIV layout featuring Relient K. Inspired by the song Life After Death and Taxes. Very simple, not much going on. My favorite thing about the layout is rolling over the links "home, add, message etc.". Make sure you do that. Remember, I'm quite young and fairly new with DIVs. I do enjoy a good critique but please do not eat me up and spit me out. I know the layout isn't "OMG wow amazing!", but try to think about it being good in its own simplicity. Close your eyes, try forgetting fancy brushes and vibrant colors...think good, simple, powerful. Now open your eyes. You're ready to see "Life After Death and Taxes". Turn up the speakers, because the layout goes perfectly with the song, or at least I think so.

Awe, I was thinking a reliant K layout, this may blow me away. But I guess it didn't. Not to be rude, it is nice. Very simple. I like the little Reliant K on the left side. I think the color yellow sticks out a bit to much, and the fact I don't really like yellow

I really like Reliant K though, I use to listen to them a really long time ago when I use to go to the mountains all the time, aparently MTV liked them recently -shrugs-

I don't like the whole yellow glowing/drop-shadow effect. But the rollover effect is pretty cool. And I love Relient K.

Agreed with the others, I don't really like the yellow glow. The images also seem a bit blurry. You can still see some white edges around them. I also don't really like the placement, but thats just my opinion. Rather nice job though.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I personally like the yellow glow. It was supposed to give it a distant reality look, like it's real (relient k), but not real (the glow). Giving kind of like a, I don't know, life after death feel? I choose the colors black and yellow because I was listening to this song once and a vision of this layout popped into my head. And the colors were black and yellow. Why? I don' t know. The song just makes me think of those colors.
