Terrible freshman year |

I almost got into a fight today. Well, last week this white kid has been mocking me sarcastically, saying I suck at my interests which isn't true. So I just stayed quiet because it was during class. Then I go on myspace messaging him because I got angry dissing the f**k out of him ... so 1 week later (today) the kids comes behind me and shoves me saying "Wanna say that shit to my face". I wanted to throw a punch but I didn't want to embarass myself in the hallway around 100s+ of people. Plus, I would've fallen into a deeper hole. But I'm still pissed. I regret I should've pulled out my pocketknife and stabbed him or some shit. Now people might think I'm a pussy who dosen't do anything back.
Did I do the right thing or no? My older cousins have advised me in august, "Enjoy high school. Make a lot of new friends and don't get into fights. Hey i'm not trying to?? he started shit talking about me and I couldn't control myself. wtf should I do .. I hate this gay ass school |

You'd probably be in jail if you stabbed him and made an even bigger fool out of yourself than without fighting him. |

you've made a right decision to not get into a fight but maybe you shouldn't go gone on myspace and messaged him. but yeah, are they freshmen as well? those kids ae just idiots. best to just stay away from them or something. it happened to my friend joe as well but it's a different idiotic story.

Its just freshman year, don't look too much into it.
As for the guy you got in the fight with, he probably has some......... emotional problems or something but the only way he can feel better about himself is to be "tough." |

You did the right thing by not physically fighting him. You should just stop dissing people no matter what they say about you. If you have a problem with someone, tell your school's peer mediators or something. Dissing other people will make your situation worse. Seriously. They'll want to fight you if you do and you're gonna get kicked out of your school one day and when it comes to college and they see that you've been causing so much trouble, they might not accept you.
Think about your future and not your reputation. Stop caring so much about what other people think about you. Sorry if it sounds a little harsh, but it's the truth. And do yourself a favor--DON'T CARRY AROUND A POCKETKNIFE. It'll make your situation even worse. You're only 14 for God's sake! |

I don't think that... it really matters if you're considered a wuss or something. because honestly, who's really all that tough in high school? at least the earlier years anyway. It's a good thing you didn't beat him up but do you even really know him? if all he said was that you're bad at blah, then it really isn't that big of a deal. but if he's being racist or something, you should take it up with the teacher. it's not weak. it's mature. |
