The layout it's self I like, but there seems to be a little problem with the sizes and positioning of the divs. The comment box has both vertical and horizontal scrollbars. And there seems to be a horizontal scrollbar in the main div on the page, just a lot lower... here's a screen shot of what I see: http://i14.tinypic.com/2dwf61i.jpg

Add more content (which I think is a given that you're going to do) because right now the friends are the main focus point for me, get rid of the blue border around the pics

Layout is alright. It's low content and the tape okay. I see a horizontal scrollbar (FF). You should change the text color on you're comment box. It's white and the box area is white. =/
