All I am trying to do is add a slide from slide.com and a flash player in the space at the bottom of the page. If you have the knowledge and know you can help me please shoot me an IM at queensheneshi@aim.com. I will be more than willing then to share my page and coding with you. Many have attempted to help but no cigars :(

Link to your myspace? Did you ever try just putting both of them in a div and positioning them where you want them.

Yea all you need to do is just make another div , position it to the bottom and put the code for the slide and everything in there.

Still not working. Someone created the page for me and all I'm trying to do is add the slide and music.

One person said to just add <div class="slideshow" style="position: absolute; left:11px; top:1229px; width:980px; height:225px; overflow: auto;">

Then someone else said to remove this coding "embed{position:absolute;top:0px;left:0px;display:block;width:0px; height:0;}".

These suggestions are not working!

Here is the coding for the slide:
<div><embed src="http://widget-97.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="site=widget-97.slide.com&channel=8165783&cy=h5&il=1" width="700" height="250" name="flashticker" align="middle"/><div style="width:700px;text-align:left"><a style="vertical-align:middle" href="http://www.slide.com/msnew/ticker?cid=8165783&cy=h5&tt=0&at=0" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-97.slide.com/h2/8165783/h5_t000_v000_a000_f00/images/slide3.gif" border="0"/></a> </div></div>

Here is the coding for thr flash player:
<center><embed src="http://www.myflashfetish.com/myflashfetish-mp3-player.swf?myid=563017&mycolor=0x402420&mycolor2=0xbe1b03&rand=1" menu="false" quality="best" scale="noscale" bgcolor="#ffffff" wmode="transparent" width="218" height="155" name="MyFlashFetish.com" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></center><center>

I'm aware on how to change the width and height of the slide and flash music player. What I do not know is how to add it to the bottom of my myspace page. Nothing is working at this point. Can anyone assist me with this matter. Does anyone know what exactly I'm doing wrong? Someone helped me with the layout in the first place so I am no expert at DIV.

edit - As toya said, use a smaller font, do NOT stretch the page. Theres no reason for it.

Ok um can we go to a smaller font. Give me your entire layout code and I'll do it for you. You have to do ALL the suggestions people gave you. mmhm.

If I do it for you , you can see what I did and pretty much how to do it and anything else you may want after that.

Didn't I help you earlier, all I got from your problem is that you have a space for the player, the only thing is, is that its not showing up. Therefore anything that is hiding the embeded stuff means the slideshow isn't going to show up..

I'm not an expert by any means, I've only made one DIV so far...but, just looking at those codes I'd think you'd need to add a z-index so that it's on a layer above your background. I could be wrong....but, that's my two cents.

How exactly would I incorporate the "Z-index" coding?

^ In each div code before the "> add z-index: #; and change # to any number. Just give each one a diff numnber.

Regarding your layout, I can't do it until today after school. I was swamped with homework yesterday so barely had anytime. But after school today I can, and I'll email the code to you.
