xklipse Congrats!

Congrats to all who participated, but after a heavily debated round of judging, we decided to eliminate Alvin (Maestro).

Round Four:

This next round's theme is "Throwback!" Designer's will choose a decade to model their design after. For example, you could do something "hippie" with the 60s, or sock-hoppy with the 50s. There's tons of things to choose from! Any decade in the 20th century can be used, and we would ask that you wouldn't choose our current decade - that is the whole point of Throwback.

The deadline for this round will be November 7th, 2006, 11:59 PM EST all entries must be PMed to all judges by that date. Please let any of the judges know if you for some reason will not be able to make the deadline.

New Deadline:
Entries are due by Sunday, November 12 @ 11:59 P.M.

*Feel free to send in with your entry an explanation of the significance of the obejcts/people/colors used in your design! That would be "groovy!"

I'm kinda confuzzled...>< So do we like design the layout to look like what was around in that decade? So if I did the decade 1910-1919 I could do something like the war, old school automobiles, etc? And for 1960s something like gogo boots and stuff?

As long as it has to do with a decade - or specific style era. You can submit an explanation along with your layout if you like.

I really enjoyed this round, it more than inspired me. My design is best used and viewed in Mozilla Firefox 1024x768, but also looks good in Internet Explorer except for the comment page. Eh. _dry.gif

I agree with you Ryan. I personally think extending the deadline was rather a bit unfair, I mean we all are busy and have to make time for other stuff such as designing and school. pinch.gif
