So i've relized. I'm terrible at layouts. XD.gif
So i decided i better start at really basic layouts. IE: Professional. [Kay basic is the wrong word, but i ment more...simple? As in the look. doesnt mean its easy, just less clutter. Oh dear now i am just rambling D:]
So i went to pixel2life, and read a lot of tuts on ideas.

Its really...well not orginal. Hopefully this will help me find my own style.
What do you think? Its suppose to be simple with not a lot of brushes.

professional layouts ARE NOT basic. its very important to understand that. while graphic-wise they may be quite simple, coding-wise they are very complicated.
the planning involved in a creating a professional layout is staggering. trust me. i'm taking a webmastering course, and we spend most of our time planning our layouts, not making them.
we take time to make a logo, then a banner, then a page, then the content...etc.
it doesnt look like you did any of that.

wooh. rant.

I mean the actual design. The coding its self can be challenging. I find them basic in the actual look. Complex layouts could easily be really easy to make but they have that complex feel.

I wanted to start off with something a little more...clean as it were. Not a lot clutter.

Though i did have over 30 layers T______T;;

Simple, clean cut and sophisticated. Beautiful work, it does not look basic or like it's made by a newbie at all.

It's pretty neat, but - you spelled "Navigation" wrong. wink.gif

sorry about the rant earlier. ive been stressed, but i shouldn't have taken it out on you.

i still stand by what i said though. its very simple, very basic. and not in a good way. you can have a professional layout that isn't simple. you can use things other than gradients. buttons w/ rollovers and other small detials might help a little. its definitely not bad though.

hmm, even though you said it wasen't that original. I like it. The colors I like as well, the whole stripes and its really simple.

I think it looks neat.

haha You spelled Navigation wrong, which is a little funny. Someone probably pointed that out too.
