okay so over the summer my boyfriend got in a boating accident and he got really hurt. I still love him and he loves me, but he was gone for about three months for rehab and all and sudden he's back and he just seems so sad and and depressed (not that i blame him at all..). i just feel like theres something i should be doing to make him happy again. i mean we're always together and we do the same things we used to, but i duno. i feel like theres something i should be doing differently as his girlfriend to make him happier. any ideas?

it's good you're still there for him. when the time is right, you MIGHT want to talk to him about the accident; sometimes it just feels better to get it all out than keep all the memories deep inside.

Be yourself, treat him like you did before. Joke around with him, be happy and perhaps it will make him happy. Talk to him about it also, I guess I really shouldn't be giving others that piece of advice, but ask him how hes feeling, take in consideration for his feelings.

I liek what other people have said above. They are all wonderfull ideas. Spend lots of time with him. Take him out for a movie or something.. Get him out of teh house so he wont have time to think about the past.

I'd say prove that you will always be there. Also, depression cannot be cured quickly. It takes time. I'm really thinkin that you should just try to prove you will always be there to help him.
