i was wondering if any of you gals had that problem.
i went to the store to go buy a dress for my aunt's wedding and i picked out what i thought was a size 6, and it fit perfectly....i came home and looked at the tag to see that it was actually a size 9!!!

and just this summer i found out i wore the wrong bra size.><
and after i found out i had to go buy new bras..T-T
what was werid is that when i went to jcpenny's after i bought my bras was a flyer that said:
-8 out of 10 women wear the wrong bra size-....haha silly me..i was one of those 8.

You shouldnt feel bad about the size 9 thing.
I mean, that happens alot, depending on the design of the dress, sizes that fit people usually vary. If that makes sense.

Like me, my size varies alot depending on what brand/type of clothes I get.

Different brands differernt sizes, I think it was in a topic about homecomming dresses or something. Someone was worried about their size. I say if it looks good on you who cares what size it is :-X

As far as the bra thing, I can find that true... It was on Opera once and this girl was wearing like a C cup and turns out she was like an F. You'd think it'd be uncomfy. Let's not suffocate the girls.

yeah it really depends on the brand & what not. some jeans i'm a 5, and others i'm a 7. and shirts as well, some i'm M and some i'm XS (depending on the fit i want). but either way, dont trip, its probably the brand, not you. if it fits, it fits whistling.gif

Some brands are mean like that and purposely make their sizes smaller than average, even though they know that America is a fatty country anyways. So then we try on those clothes, look at the increasing tag numbers, have low self-esteem, feed our sadness with a tub of ice cream and actually get fatter. Sad story, yo! cry.gif

But anyways, that happens to me too. I range from a 1-7 in pants sizes. Not even joking. And for the most part, I think I'm a 4-6 in dress sizes. I don't own enough dresses to confirm that though.

I wore the wrong bra size until like a couple of months ago. Also, I'm a size 1-2 in pants and usually a medium in shirts but I just bought my sweet 16 dress and it's a size 5 so everything really dpends. All designers make their sizes however they want so I wouldn't worry about the size issue so much.

don't worry i was one out of the 8 too, and as everyone else had said periously it really depends on the brand not everyone has the same body type, and brands don't make everything as a standard size. i bought a north face jacket and normally i'm a large in jackets but i got a medium and i fit in the small. don't worry bout it =] it's normal.

Obviously the numbers are always what girls these days look for, and it's what bothers them the most. You really should only care about the fit, because sizes vary with brands and numbers shouldn't matter. Most of my pants are all different sizes!

I bought a pair of shorts a few months ago, and I didn't really check the size. When I tried it on, it fit just right. Then, I checked the size and saw that it was a 9. I'm usually a size 3. hehe.gif
