I am wondering if someone here is using that because I reformated my pc and the pop up keeps popping up. So I'm not sure if it's real or just an ad. Thank you!

WinAntiVirus causes your computer to become unstable. It's like a type of spyware. It's a scam.

Thanks a lot Elaine. I'll take a look at those.
Also, while I was looking for some stuff to help take care of this, I found four useful programs in this forum. Ad-Aware SE Spybot-Search & Destroy SpywareBlaster SpywareGuard I've actually heard of all of those programs, but I've only bothered installing the first one, which works pretty well. |
