Hello,

Trying again with my concept of a design gallery based in xanga.

So Bonnevache 2 is here. So, what does everyone think of the design, and the concept of a gallery in general. (I don't want to go into it too much as someone will yell at me for advertising and then I'll cry. It'll be horrible...really)

So, thoughts, opinions?

BonneVache GO!

It's amazing. You turned a blog into a prefoessional website.

I'm astonished! I love your color wheel concept!

*not advertising*

Anything you think I should add to the design itself? I just finished re-doing the header background to include a repeating arch so there isn't so much white.

More comments please. =)

It does look wonderful. My intial reaction was: "Wait, this is a Xanga?!" But I feel there is still too much white space in the banner. Perhaps make the vertical height smaller or move the text over to the white space. Of course, you would have to modify the text effects. Ooh, a thought just came to me. Have a thought bubble with your title or username written on it. It'll draw attention to all areas of the image.

Oh, if you're trying to bring attention to it, try submitting it to Topsite. As well, I would have enabled comments because some may be turned off by the e-mail option. Heh, people are lazy.

^ I made the banner 100px smaller vertically & added a 2nd arch to the top in an alternating pattern.

As far as enabling comments goes, I'd like to but I need to find out a way to disable the "2 eprop 1 eprop 0 eprop" deal that appears over the comment box, as it streches the div above the alloted 40% of the page and causes the entire content area to move under the gallery. (only in IE of course mad.gif )

Ideas on how to fix that would be much appeciated.

There's still too much white space for me in your banner. Maybe make the text bigger?

But I like the whole concept, design and the xanga's purpose.

I love the rainbow-ness of it.
It takes awhile for the pictures on the sidebar to load though...

Very nice. Its well organized and works well with IE and FF. It has a simple yet modern interface which makes it work. Its professional...that would be the right choice of words. Good layout in all aspects. thumbsup.gif
