My school only has junk food Hahaha. Yeah, most of our food is junk food. Okay, except for burritos and sandwiches, which nobody buys. =P Everything else is junk food; candy bars, chips, oily pizza, etc. Drink wise ... Gatorade, soda, etc. And, yup, there's water. |

Oh yeah, it's a new rule passed this school year. Doesn't affect me since I don't eat that stuff anyway. The guy who has the locker next to me uses his locker as food storage. He bought like this 12 pack of instant ramen and 6pack coke. No books or anything, just food.

My school has constantly talked about getting rid of it but it seems like they are still selling junk food at school.

Tell me about it. Fries, chicken strips, burgers and chips are the only things I see nowadays. All the "healthy" stuff is expensive. Is there even healthy food? South Cafe is like all junk-food. I haven't been to North Cafe much but I'm pretty sure it's all junk food too. Also Starbucks is like a 5 minutes walkaway. I am becoming a fattie |

Man, I hate it... First they got rid of our Doritos and chips and replaced them with those nasty reduced fat thin toasted chips that have no flavor what-so-ever. Then they took away the candy. That didn't bother me so much but just last week they went too far...
I was going to the soda machine, which I do everyday after school, to get my daily dose of after school Mountain Dew. I go up to the machine and what do I see? DIET MOUNTAIN DEW. I'm complaining to the office. Seriously! |

Hahaha, they can't do thay to my high school!
My school is on a college campus and we usually go to the college cafeteria to eat lunch. But we've never really had candy. Or nachos. Just chips, soda, french fries, potato wedges, pizza, Blimpies, Chinese food.. The high school cafeteria only serves sandwiches. That's why noone goes there. |

My school doesnt have crap thats healthy, except for water.
My school doesnt prepare their own lunches... they order them, and resell them for twice as much. We have Mcdonalds, Chik-fila, Taco Bell, Pizza, and Arbys to choose from. And we have nothing but soda to choose from. No diet drinks. And we have a candy stand, that sells candy, chips, and ice cream. Once again, nothing healthy. |

Yup, no more white bread, it's all wheat/multi-grain stuff. The took out the soda machines and they're limiting the portions for lunch... so I just bring my lunch everyday now. Oh, and there's just skim milk now, too.

I actually like this new rule, they only really horrible thing is that it limits what we can sell for fundraising. Most clubs just sell candy for a dollar, and now we're all scramblin to think of new things.

My school went pretty healthy. We have a salad bar, fruit bar, they made cheeseburgers have like whole wheat rolls, theres whole wheat bread for the sandwhichs too, and whole wheat wraps. They still sell some snacks though. The elementary schools in my area is even having healthy foods now too. It's insane.
