All right, since ya'll are so groovy XD.gif, I decided to start here and ask for your suggestions. Ok, so for my 18th birthday I am having a Vintage Night. So, we'll start by going to a 1950s style diner (about 12 of us). After that back home and we'll listin to old records, make stenciled shirts with retro Hollywood movie stars, make milkshakes, drink Jones Soda, watch classics (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Singin' in the Rain, CasaBlanca). For decorations we will have all my vintage pictures stuck on my wall, black and white balloons. The dress code is retro clothes! Polka dots, teal, etc.

Those are some ideas I have so far. If you have any more suggestions especially, activities, food, decorations, etc. then please share. Thank you very much. happy.gif

P.S. I hope this thread is in the right forum, if not then please feel free to move it. thumbsup.gif

Grease is a must-watch movie.

You ought to have a sock hop!

Well, it's not a "fifties" party. Just like Retro/Vintage party. _smile.gif I just really want to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's because Audrey Hepburn is vintage and my idol. _smile.gif I'm so happy you love that movie too! It's just a classic so were watching it. And I will not forget the red lipstick! happy.gif

Decorate in a lot of black and white maybe? Checkered stuff, especially. It'd be cool to get classic, vintage stuff like old Coke bottles, Matchbox cars, fuzzy dice (like the ones that hang from car mirrors), etc. Clothing wise, poodle skirts, bobby socks, saddle shoes... You could even rent or make a fake jukebox. Well, hope you have an awesome party. thumbsup.gif

Awesome! happy.gif I love Grease. Frenchie was my favorite.

Yay! happy.gif Same for me. She also played in a t.v. show I used to watch when I was a wee little one, called Shining Time Station (maybe you've heard of it?). And when I saw Grease, I was like no way it's her! _smile.gif
