If you guys could answer this survey for me, it'd really help me a lot. ^_^

1. Do you like math?
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
3. What grade do you have in math?
4. What math are you in?

Thanks! If this doesn't belong here, you can just move it or delete it. I just need as many participants as possible. :)

1. Yesss. Always have. Except Algebra. >.<
2. I dont know. When I was little, I loved doing math in my head for everything and saying my times tables really fast. Heh. And I think It's just something I'm naturally good at. I seem to catch on to new things fast.
3. A or A+
4. Geometry Honors

1. Do you like math?
-Ehh, it's okay, but it's not the greatest thing in the world.
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
-I guess I just never liked the concept of math itself. Having to practice over & over again was just tedious & dull. I'm the type of person that has to learn fast & get onto new concepts quickly. Plus, I've had some really crappy teachers.
3. What grade do you have in math?
-An A or B.
4. What math are you in?
-Algebra 1.

Oh... I'm gonna have to do a survey like this for a stats project in a few weeks... It's a good idea to post it on cB...

1. Yeah.
2. I like it because it's systematical, there's always a reason why something's this or something's that. It's straight-forward and doesn't have crazy "exceptions to the rules" that don't make sense like in English...
3. Right now... a 102% But it rounds down to a 100 =[ haha
4. Calc BC

1. Do you like math? Yes I actually do.
2. Why or why not? I just do, I don't know why I find it somewhat fun. (shutup.)
3. What grade do you have in math? I'm not sure at the moment I think a B.
4. What math are you in? Algebra 1 (apparently I'm above grade level.)

Heh, you sound a lot like me! I'm in BC as well, and I can't stand English class. >_< It's too analytical in the sense there isn't always a right answer.

1. Do you like math?
Yes. It's awesome.

2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
Easiest subject for me. And I had a pretty cool math teacher in 6th grade.
And science is definitely a factor. Math is necesary for science and I love science.

3. What grade do you have in math?
Last year, I had 98, 98, 99, 98. Just started high school, so I dunno yet.. (That's like an A or A+, I guess.)

4. What math are you in?
Math A 3 of 3. And I'm in 9th grade.
(There are mostly sophomores in my math class. 7/27 are freshmen. I'm taking Math A 3 because I took Math A 1 & 2 in middle school.)

1. Do you like math?
Not really. I was always more into English. I really can't stand Geometry.
But there are times when Algebra appears amusing lol.

2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
I think I just have had horrible math teachers my entire life. I could really not understand it, and it wasn't my strongest suit. But I always did pretty good in it, I just never really liked it too much. When I finally got a good teacher I enjoyed it a lot more, and got an A in it.

3. What grade do you have in math?
Right now I'm not taking any math courses.

4. What math are you in?

Same as above.

1. Do you like math?

2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
I started to like math when I took Algebra I. I think it was the teacher that made me like math.

3. What grade do you have in math?
It's too early in the year to know. But last year I had an A

4. What math are you in?
I'm in Algebra II

3. right now i have no idea. i`ve been getting good grades on my tests so i guess it can`t be bad.
4. i`m in college algebra right now.

1. Do you like math? Sure, it's okay.

3. What grade do you have in math? Right now, probably some kind of A.
4. What math are you in? Honors Algebra 1.

1. Do you like math?
Sure, as long as it isn't geometry. Geometry is from the devil. It is a pathetic thing that everyone fails and deems no purpose in life. But I totally rocked at algebra. LOVE ALGEBRA! throb.gif
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
This evil teacher. A midget who I wanted to kill. I wish she would die. Really. But her and her lack of actual teaching abilities.
3. What grade do you have in math?
High B, currently. biggrin.gif
4. What math are you in?
Algebra 2

1. Do you like math?
Yes, I love it!
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
My hatred for all things like English and Socials. I love that math is clear and concise, and there's always a right or wrong answer. Everything fits in with each other.
3. What grade do you have in math?
I had around 102% last year.
4. What math are you in?
Math 12H (that's how math is divided in Vancouver).

1. Do you like math?
What are you smoking.
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math?
No opinion. I don't like it or hate it, but it's easier than all my other classes. In eighth grade, I didn't get into Geometry Honors because I had an A- for one semester and not a solid A. It was pretty tragic.
3. What grade do you have in math?
Probably A or A+ since I scored near perfect on both tests.
4. What math are you in?
AP Calculus

1. Do you like math? Absolutely not. (Although...I can handle the standardized testing logical sort, I just don't enjoy learning it.)
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math? Well, mainly the fact that I'm fairly awful at it. It generally gives me a headache, because it means essentially nothing to me. And I can't BS it, which I also don't appreciate.
3. What grade do you have in math? Last time I checked, 82...which is technically a 92, since it's an AP class
4. What math are you in? AP calculus AB gifted

1. Do you like math? Not particularly.
2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math? There's typically only one right answer; I much prefer English where there isn't an absolute answer. Also, my high school math teachers were really anal and just didn't make math enjoyable. At all.
3. What grade do you have in math? Don't know; class hasn't started yet.
4. What math are you in? College calculus. (Yay, vague! I don't even know what I'm in for, really.)

Mm.. what is this for? A psych class? 'cause usually surveys like these go into the school subforum. shrug.gif

1. Do you like math? Yes, I do.

2. Why or why not? In other words, what has influenced you to like or dislike math? I think it's fun. It explains a lot about the way the world works, and allows you to figure out some pretty interesting things.

3. What grade do you have in math? I haven't gotten any grades yet for this semester. The past two semesters, I have received a B+ (3.33) and A- (3.66).

4. What math are you in? I currently have two math courses: MATH 211 Calculus III and MATH 213 Linear Algebra. Linear algebra covers linear systems and matrices in multiple dimensions, as well as topics related to vector spaces. The calc class covers calculus-related topics in three or more dimensions, with an emphasis on things like vectors and planes. Both are college courses.

1. No.

2. The majority of the time, I don't understand something straight away and it takes me a while to get it. Plus, I'm bad at it and have had bad teachers.

3. An A right now, but we only had one quiz so far, and one test which hasn't been graded yet (which I probably did horribly on). But last year, I had just-barely A's.

4. Honors Geometry
