is it just me, or are lots of movies that are coming out really similar? wow... this makes me sound movie crazy.

examples:

the illusionist/ the prestige
hollywoodland/ the black dahlia
over the hedge/ the wild/ open season
world trade center/ united 93
jet li's fearless/ the protector.

it kind of makes me confused which to go see blink.gif

HAHA wow i was thinking the same thing. weird. a lot do seem the same. But the last one is kind of funked up, just because they are both asian doesnt mean theyre the same lol. The protector is more present day than fearless.

The black dahlia looks amazing though.

Haha, yeah. I remember watching the trailers on TV for the Black Dahlia and Hollywoodland, thinking, "Hey...was that the same movie?" It's so incredibly similar.

Yeah, but the two movies are totally different. Hollywoodland doesn't suck, for one.

And has anyone seen the previews for that Capote remake, Infamous? Or even worse, has anyone even paid to see it (since I think it's out)? Shortest time period between remakes, Capote came out not even a year ago.

^ Wait, what? Already? I'm pretty sure I just saw Capote this summer. Or part of it.

They're a lot of remakes coming out. And sequels.

^ Well, it's not exactly billed as a Capote remake, but it might as well as be considered one. It focuses on exactly the same point of Capote's life as the first Capote. Watch the trailer and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, they have another Chainsaw Massacre. The beginning I think. Maybe they'll tell you how he became what he is. Except then that would take away from the mystery of him. *sigh* We deffinately need some more good movies, with original ideas.
