The new season premieres on Wednesday, October 4 @ 9/8c.

Last thing we saw was:
QUOTE
Micheal sold Sawyer, Jack, Kate and Hugo to the others so that him and Walt would be able to get off the Island.

The others then gave Michael a boat and the co-oridates to get off the island and it looks like they are going to do so...

However, Due to Lockes failure to believe that the button was significant, they failed to press the button in time and everything seems to be falling apart...The whole place is literally caving in

Sawyer, Kate, Jack and Hugo were captured by the others and it seems that Henry (who was once their prisoner) is the leader of the others...The others then sent Hugo back to tell the rest of the camp that they have captured Sawyer, Jack and Kate and that none of them should dare to try anything....with them
From tv.com

Let's not forget the whole very cool return of Desmond and his flashback, which was incredible. And his girl's cronies mentioned something about coordinates to her (right?).

Also, I've been reading some spoilers, and Season 3 is already looking to be very interesting. (Psssst.... rumor has it Ian Somerhalder (Boone) was in Hawaii hanging out and reading a script with Terry O'Quinn (Locke). Hmmm....)

Season 3 Trailers :)

Well crap it. I figured (and I'm sorry I assumed sad.gif ) that since summer has past and that the new season is upon us that everyone would have had a chance to see it by now.

I'm sorry. sad.gif

Excellent. I looooove Ian Somerhalder throb.gif. I hate that he always dies in the series he's in. (Well, he died in Smalleville and Lost).

One of my favorite moments in Season 1 is during Locke's dream (I think it was the same episode that he fell down in the plane) and he's saying, "Teresa falls up the stairs Teresa falls down the stairs Teresa falls up the stairs Teresa falls down the stairs." It's so creepy.

Locke generally just scares the crap out of me. I think he's crazy. More than crazy. Just effed up or something. Took too many drugs or something.

BUT YAYAYAYA FOR BOONE!!!

He has such pretty eyes.

Yeah I've seen the commercial for this. I don't know much about Lost though. At first I found it interesting, but I never got to continue watching. I always get lost in episodes.

^ What don't you get? :)

I just re-watched it online. You know, season openers are always hit and miss. I haven't decided whether or not I really liked the premier.

I do know that I DO NOT like Juliette. The actress (whose name escapes me) is always a snooze no matter what she's in. I hope I'm proved wrong this time.

That suburb within the island thing is weird. Way weird. I do like the concept of an underground Dharma facility (The Hydra). That should prove interesting in the episodes to come.

I miss the the islanders though. :( It's just not the same without a glimpse of Hurley, Charlie, Claire, Locke, Mr. Eko, etc...

DO you guys think i can catch up with the new season cause i havent watched the last two seasons but this episode caught me, i started watching it and i was like woah regular crazy people living on the island... so what happened to the other people????? like the korean people and that fat guy lol. i wanna see more of lost. its awesome.

I heard the lost: lost epsidoes were really bad and they talk about politics and they are racists and stuff.

but its weird how they are all living there, i wanted to punch that B**** in the face when her nosy a** was all in his life. the girl with the blondish reddish hair.

Well, my advice would be to try to keep up with the new episodes and during the break, have mad Lost Season 1/2 marathons. According the spoilerfix:
QUOTE
The series will return in October for 6 episodes and then go in hiatus for 12 weeks and come back for 17 straight episodes, for a total of 23 episodes. Some reports say that the season will have 24 episodes.

So get caught up during that excruciating 12 week hiatus. If you're as addicted as I got the first season, that long of a break will make you crazy. wink.gif

^ Would be better with Mr. Eko and his Jesus stick though. ;)

My wish (thus far) for the season is some damn answers regarding Libby. The girl showed up in Hurley's mental institution AND in Des' (who I ADORE, btw) flashback. blink.gif

Oh and I heard a theory... (actually, it was on one of the season 2 episode commentaries) that perhaps one of the people on that boat (or whatever) that Hurley was on that fell might have had Locke on it and that's what caused him to be wheelchair bound. Either way, we're supposedly going to find out this season why he was in a wheelchair.

Nah, it's such a guilty pleasure. I love it. One of my favorite things about the Season 2 set is that they have a little short called "Sawyerisms." I love it because people in the cast are asked their favorite Saywer insult and it's pretty funny.

I'm a tool. I just realized that the guy that dies in the hospital when Sarah (Jack's ex-wife) is brought into the hospital (when he does the spinal surgery on her) was Shannon's dad.

First episode in season 2. In Jack's flashback it cuts to a quasi- "ER" shot and Sarah is wheeled in. As he starts examining her, another man is brought into the ER and the nurse says, "Mr. Rutherford's heart stopped beating." Or something like that.

Later on in Season 2, the episode that Shannon dies in, she also has a flashback that has her in the hospital. A doctor comes out and says (to her stepmother), I'm sorry Mrs. Rutherford. There was an accident and your husband didn't make it.

I queued the commentary on that episode (I sooo love the DVDs) and lo and behold, it is Shannon's father.

Regarding last night's eppie - WHOA! I'll hold off on the details until James gets a chance to watch it... but WHOA. Friggin SUN! (No, she didn't die, but there was quite a bit of revelation about her character last night). OHHHH and what Ben (aka "Henry") revealed to Jack. HOLY FRIGGIN CRAP.

Definitely! I adore the writers (and directors, and cast) of Lost. Everything is top notch and so far there really isn't a weak link.

Oh and there's a HUGE debate going on about who did "the pushing," if you catch my drift. Personally, my finger is pointing to Sun. ;) Sun, by the way is becoming so much more of an interesting and compelling character since the show's first season.

Now DES TIME PLEASE!!!!!!!!! Pretty please? :)

Bleh. I love Kate, I love Sawyer, I hate them together. :P

They had some great dialogue though. Then again, Sawyer always has the best insults.

Kristina - The pushing of Sun's teacher/secret lover. Some say he jumped, but I think Sun did it. Part of the reason I think this is because when she was in the boat that lady said, "Sun, you're not a killer," and she had a way strange look on her face.

How? it is such a more interesting connection than Jack and Kate. Jack and Kate just seem like the convienent, boring, predictable, and superficial couple. Sawyer and Kate have that perfect amount of spice, mystery, conflict, and controversy. They're wonderful together. Plus, they're both hard asses. Cooooome on!!!

I have the exact opposite regard for them. To me, Skate is the predictable, two bad peas in a pod scenario.

Plus, my GAWD the tension Jate had when they were caught in that net trap of the French Woman's.

What's sort of interesting to me, as a viewer is that I thought that Sayid might have been part of the triangle after the first few episodes.

I have weird shipper thoughts though. I wouldn't be surprised to see some slash fan fic out there involving Michael and Jin. thumbsup.gif whistling.gif

Eh, I actually think it might just be because I like Sawyer so much more than Jack. That's my prejudice at work there. I just like Sawyer as a gaaaiiii that much more. Jack, I have such little sympathy for at the moment. On the other hand, I have a great deal of sympathy and empathy for Sawyer. So, I guess I really want to see him get the girl over that Medical-Degree-having-Prick.

Hmm, this deserves further meditation. Lost, ha!

Hey, I adore the shirtless poster boy of Lost, but still.

The guy I'm having the empathy for is Chawwwlie. Not only was his father an abusive ass, his brother was also an abusive ass who took his damn piano (*sniff*) but he's putting up with that dipshit Claire.

Actually, I like Claire now for some reason. ermm.gif

I like Chairly as well... (almost as much as i like combining the names of characters. Bernose!)

but no, im with nate, i cant sympathise with jate because i cant stand jack. he is a psycho loon, and that is the end of it. the relationship between swate is more belieable, and more interesting. let jack burn.

WOAH. Way trippy episode last night.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE! Looking great as usual. Although, you think they might have done something a little better with his hair. ;) I love how he was John's spiritual guide, so to speak, though. Very effective. That whole airport sequence was so well filmed, especially for TV.

Um... so Des. Psychic much? Or what? Not sure about that since they didn't give us much of him other than some lovely shots of him wearing nothing but Hurley's rather large tie-dye t-shirt that clung to Des' legs. Personally, I'm thinking they should have made the shirt shorter. But I digress.

OH and new bare chest alert! Locke has finally taken his shirt off. Kudos, man. thumbsup.gif

Some other stuff - Eko's alive (thankfully) and Chawwwlie is still a smart ass. throb.gif

Promos for next week seem to indicate a Sawyer episode.

Since they are both very similar and very very cute.
And since I strongly dislike Jack.

Friggin real life drama :(

YES, I saw the episode. (OF course I did, I'm a junkie)

Island looking over the island eh? Hmm. I'm still not sure what Ben meant by them not being able to find a way out. That sort of jibes with the theory Des had about being in a "snow globe."

And ha!@ Kate saying, "I only said that so that they would stop beating you." comment when he said, "if you love me..." HA HA and triple HA HA. Ok, so that's me being childish. Sue me. ;)

GREAT episode, by the way. Felt more like the good ones from Seasons 1 and 2. So far 3 has been *ok*, but really a slow start. And other than the Boone dream sequence last week, the season has been a ho-hummer for the most part.

im getting bored of lost all together. from the beginning, it seemed like the authors dragged out the entire story to squeeze as much as they could out of the show..and make the most money by making 2398928 seasons. i actually think that the whole "others" shit is boring now. we don't have anything to be scared of anymore because we know who they are now even though we don't know why the hell they're on the island. [will we EVER know at this rate?] last episode i was disappointed taht they didn't show sayid and the asians at all. i also think that lost would've been better if instead of showing all of those damn flashbacks aobut each character so often, they showed the others' civilization intertwining with them on the island. in the end, they would eventually cross. hmm seems more interesting to me, but what do i know..

You know... I'd like to personally shove my black fat Sharpie up the writers' butts. I've been cool with everything so far, even Boone's demise since it furthered a plot development. But EKO?! WTF man?! It came out of nowhere. There was no redemption, no plot development, nothing. They killed off my Jesus Stick wielder without much of a fuss. Damn them. DAMN THEM.

Oh and I apologize for not giving out a spoiler warning or whatever. But I figure since it's been a day since the show aired in the US, it would be safe to go ahead and let it out in the open. Plus, I selfishly needed a place to voice my frustration and overall disappointment.

THERE.

UGH. I guess I'm just pissed because they add two more mains and they rid me (erm, us) of a character as amazing and as interesting as Eko was. He was Locke's foil. He MADE Locke interesting. Now, meh, Locke's just trying to be the leader since Jack and Co. are chillin' with Benry.

i think they should focus on other characters more. it's not the jack/kate/sawyer show, y'know?!

^ Aye.

And the whole Sawyer/Kate thing. Predictable. The girl needs to just make up her damn mind already. She does one thing and says another.

I am ready to see more of the islanders now. Sure, the whole Benry universe is cool, but what about everyone else? This really isn't the Jack/Kate/Sawyer show (as mentioned before).

And yeah, I'm still mad as hell (well, as mad as one can be about a tv show) that Eko is gone.

Yeahh, but the jack/kate/sawyer thing is what the brings on the viewers, and I'll admit it does interest me, since Jack and Sawyer deserves so much more, but there's so many more characters and plots that they can delve into. They had a good cliffhanger imo, but they better start answering stuff reaaaal well in February.

ABC is making a huge mistake. When they did this mid-season hiatus for Invasion, yeah, it got cancelled! And it was a pretty decent and higher ranked show! ABC had better pull out same damn big guns for this 16-week-straight-no-reruns thing they've got planned in February.

Ugh. Don't worry. I'm pissssssed. I get SO mad about TV things.

You guys obviously don't know the story of Eko's sudden death. They had to bring it rapidly because the actor who played Eko chose to leave the show. His death was however, slightly developed, reintroducing the Black Cloud and exposing that man on the TV screen. Eko was also heavily damaged from the hatch/bear. But I agree, he was a great man. Anyways, the actor's parents died, and he left LOST in order to go back to England and write a book(so ive heard). Thats the scoop!

DEAL! rolleyes.gif

^ Oh obviously.

laugh.gif

I know all about the actors (reported) plans and what not. Been watching the show and ::cue dork:: have been in a number of Lost related fan forums for a while now. wink.gif

There's no way that you or anyone else can convince me that this death was well written. (Not that you're trying to convince anything to that effect, just saying that it could have been done better).

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to. whistling.gif

When Juliet's ex-husband got hit by a bus that was the biggest "WTF" moment in Lost history. Okay maybe Season's 3 history. But yes, very very WTF.

Apparently, we find out next week what happens to Juliet and what happened to her sister. The producers say that this part of the season will go by much faster and answer more questions than the typical "more questions than answers" lost Episodes. Mmm, we'll see. But I did love that story that Kate told Jack. biggrin.gif

Well, I believe next ep will be Claire-centric (It's about FRIGGIN time), so I'm not sure if anything will get resolved as far as Juliet goes.

I have to prepare then to go a meeting in a bit, but I watched and read the summary from last night.

Some interesting points:
-Did she or did she not know Ethan. I thought she said hi or something like that in the beginning of the ep then later on said, "do I know you?"
-So Juliet's a researcher/MD/whatever that knows about pregnancy and getting individuals/rats/whatevers pregnant. Did she have anything to do with Sun's pregnancy (or was that really an effect of the affair Sun had)?
-Yeahhh, Ben as Alex's pop? Hmmm. Adoptive father? Real father? Where the hell is the French woman anyway?
-So Kate decides to go all vigilante and rescue Jack. SHOCKING. I don't care for the "I owe him that" line in the previews, but whatever. I'm so sick of being force-fed Kate/Sawyer at this point. But that's a bias. :-p
-What's with the brainwashing crap? I got Clockwork Orange flashbacks during that scene. Nice goggles/headpiece or whatever.
-OH yeah.. anyone else get the Final Destination vibe when the bus hit Juliet's ex? Total ripoff scene. lol
-Ewwww to the Hanibal Lector-ish scene with the tumor. (not that he ate it, but still, ew)

There's more... I need to rewatch.

Actually, I was less than enthused with the first couple of episodes in Season 3. Then they went and killed Eko! That totally bummed me out, but, at least it showed that they weren't afraid to rock the boat this year. Although, I can deal with a little less Kate-sobs. Seriously, there could probably be an hour long montage of her just crying.
