So there's this guy in my English class. He's not too good at the subject, (though he speaks the language perfectly fine) so one day, he asked if he could come over so he could study with me. I gave him my number, & he came the next day. Yes, we actually studied, & I learned a little bit about him as a person. I think he learned something about me, too. I don't think he did too well on the test that we were studying for, (XD.gif) but I like him anyhow.

The only problem is, he sits all the way across the room from me (we have assigned seats), and we're never able to talk. He told me he was going to transfer out of the class (because it's an Honors class), & it's the only class I have with him! cry.gif So if he does transfer out, I won't have any type of contact with him whatsoever.

What do I do?

He has your number right?! He'll call, you'll develop a friendship, you'll know where he is in school and talk.

you should ask for his number too so you can call him to talk or just say hi to him in the hallway or just hang with him at lunch

That's the problem though, bobby james. The only time he called was when he needed help in English & wanted to come over. sad.gif & vn cuti3, we don't have the same lunch. He's also on a soccer team outside of school with some other guys in my class. They went to middle school with me (we're in high school) & I have a very strange feeling that he might have heard some stuff about me from the other guys. >_>;;

he plays soccer?
THATS a keeper.

hahaha. kidding.

Hm, this is tough.
I`d say, the next time you happen to talk,
convince him into staying into the class.
If that`s possible and he`s convinced
you can take it from there. happy.gif

You just say to him, "hey you ever wanna hang out sometime? Not just for studying, but we'll chill for a bit, and actually have fun. Get our minds off of school and all." Something like that.
He has your number, and I'm sure you have his.
Or if you don't, then get his. lol

Just start having a relationship out of class and stuff.
Talk =)

Good luck!

you don't need to have class with him to talk to him. talk to him online or go hang out with him, even if it's with a group of friends. maybe you can go to his soccer game sometime with a friend. who cares what these guys may or may not have said. they don't know anything for sure. good luck ;]
