I finally brought a wire to connect to my printer (printer is dell 720) so I plug in the usb 2.0 cable, the printer is on but it doesn't print. Can anyone help me ? I am guessing I need to put in a cd to install it. I really don't know what to do to install the printer.

you probably have to install the driver for the printer. Didnt the printer come with a cd? usually you have to put in the cd before you plug any new devices into your computer.

Go to start->control panel- printers faxes. Click add printer, should auto detect your printer and install the driver if necessary.

Download the driver online..

Click the second one on the table of contents and download the .exe file and install.
That way, you won't be needing the CD.

Oh, you're welcome. happy.gif

So I'm guessing this can be closed now?
(That is, if your problem is solved.)
