Well If you like them,

If you've ever heard of fredflare
their coming out with some that actually look close to the Vans.

Their actually quite neat looking, I'm thinking about getting some. Their pretty cute. But if you also want to have the chance to win them and your good at poetry their having a poetry contest..

I've been wearing them for a few years now. Although for a while it seemed as if a ton of people were just wearing them because it was some trend/ -shrugs- It never came here. Most people never really have seen van's slip ons.

I actually just bought a pair of white Vans slip-ons recently; thought they were cute & versatile. These shoes are like $10 cheaper (including tax), and they ARE pretty cute. (= Limited edition, too, huh?

I don't like those shoes.. They're weird looking..

And I haven't really seen Vans around.. Just a few people.

I like Vans wayy better. I have 6 pairs now. I think.
3 are customized.
I like collecting them.

Punkrose have shoes like Vans too. I only have 1 pair of those though.

i bought those like.. slipons with laces last year. now everyone has them. and since i keep my shoes clean, everyone thinks that i'm the one that follows the "trend". like um, no way. i like my vans but i wouldn't wear them on a daily basis.

I used to have a pair of the slip-on's. They are everywhere now. I considered buying a pair for school, since they're really comfortable. But I changed my mind, and bought the velcro kind instead. ;]

Yea I've seen the velcro ones like once. No one around here wears Van's I suppose.
They are very comfortable though.

Eh, I like flat things.

If i went to the whole wedges, pumps, etc.

I wouldn't be living to well at the moment, I would fall after every few steps more than likely.

Those are hella comfortable.

I love the whole of vans line, not just the slip ons. But I think Etnies are better.

In skating shoes, I think DCs are best (I own like 3 pairs XD.gif). They're comfortable, good for skating, and they look awesome.

I just like Vans for how they look.

I have slip-on shoes that are like that style, but I have no idea what brand it is. It has a star that's sequenced. hehe.gif Mehehe.

honestly i gave up on vans...i think everykid in Ohio wears them now. I tend to stick with DVS or DC's...but as far as slip ons go, just go to walmart and pick up a pair.

Eh I can't stand the fake pairs of vans.

Anyway not many people wear them here, only 3 so far that i've seen. And then theres a few that wear the target rip offs.

Not many wear Puma's either, one of my guy friends has a pair. I was going to get the girl version of them but they felt a little odd on my feet.

i don't own any vans, but don't u always have to clean them often?!?!

coz i see majority of ppls wear them in hot weather with no socks. so would'nt the shoes & their feet smell horrible if u don't wash them often?!?!

You can just throw them in the wash. Or put some baking soda in it or something.
I don't clean mine at all. Not anymore. They look better dirty.
And I have this spray thing I use for when they smell. But my feet don't smell, so I don't have to use it often.

I don't really like them. I think it's annoying how EVERY SINGLE PERSON has to get a pair, etc etc. I guess they look great on some people, but if everyone wears them it gets annoying. pinch.gif

Yea I went to target and saw those, I pointed out all the stuff that they didn't include. I dislike fake off brands. It kind of annoys me that they can't just think of something neat by themselves to make money.

Their kind of ugly in a way too.

Anyway no, I wear my vans with socks. I can't wear any shoes without them or my feet will feel odd. I don't usually clean mine either. by the time their really dirty I usually go out and get a new pair.. Their designs are getting a little odd in a way though.

i have a friend who bought a pair and drew alll over his left shoe. the right one's blank. he's talented so it looks nice.

people give him money to draw on shoes. $5 p/shoe, $7 for both, $15 if he goes and buys the shoe for them and draws on both.

I like the fact that they've become a crossover fashion statement, but I wouldn't rock them. Not my style. And if I did, it would be because they matched a particular outfit perfectly.

Slip-on Vans are super popular where I live. _smile.gif

The checkerboard patterns are the most popular from what I see. Some styles are cute, but I don't own any vans. shrug.gif

I like vans and I own a pair. My vans are brown.

However there is a lot of shoe brands copying the slip on vans now days.
A lot of people here wear vans (mostly), chucks, and flats.

The FredFlare vans are kind of cute, but I would never buy them.

I think Vans are okay. I'm not against them, but I've never bought any. A lot of other brands that make slip-ons have better designs.

I want all white slip-ons.

I have a question for those who wear Vans... I'm a size 4/5-ish. And I don't know if I should get size 5 in women's or size 3 in kid's. I heard they run big so... IDK. Help?
