ok im making an icon and usually i just selct random people cut them out and thats it but this time i want the whole photo to be as a icon.but for me it doesnt work and i hve paint shop pro.anyone?

no..its like ok a whole picture like the normal picture,ok and the picture i want to be as the icon i dunt want like different parts of the pic to be a icon i just want the whole pic

You could resize your photos first (if they needed to be), and then just make the crop settings 100x100 or whatever size you want for your icon, and crop the part you want.

Or just resize your photos to 100x100, though it'd look stretched. It'd be better to do it the first way I suggested; at least that's how I do mine.

k now the picture see i want this whole pic to be the icon i dunt want like to crop it or like take parts of it i want like the whole picture to be in the icon not parts of it

According to my friend [dinoooRAWR], I think the best way is to crop your picture with the dimensions 350x350, then resize it to icon size. It would be hard to resize the original picture because the dimensions are not equal.

^^ Photoshop and PSP don't have the same features. I would suggest reading PSP icon tutorials. It might make it harder if you have to try to find a certain action on PSP when the tutorial was not intended for it.

Okay..all of those tutorials have jsut color layers and basic settings which are both in PSP & PS. Read the tutorial before actually wondering if it'll translate. _smile.gif

But..anyways..just hold shift while cropping, and then finalize the crop, and resize to 100x100
