Billy Martin from Good Charlotte. I don't like Good Charlotte but I do like Billy's guitar skills. Yours?

well the greatest guitarist ever is Herman Li from Dragonforce. but i'm also quite fond of Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance(avenged sevenfold) , Adam Dutkiewicz (killswitch engage), and Ken Susi (unearth) because he does tripple guitar backflips through hoops of fire.

Im My own favorite guitarist =] lol anyways

From G'N'R Gotta be SLash <-- He Influenced many others Such as the Guitarists of A7X

Kirk Hammett From Metaillica <-- He's what got me into playing guitar when I heard Master of Puppets, Even though Now hes an abuser of his damn Wah Wah Pedal

Adrian Smith and Dave Murray from Iron Maiden

Stevie Ray Vaughn Listen to his stuff you'll know why

John Petrucci of Dream Theater <-- Yall can't fu*k with his skills

Marty Friedman former Guitarists of Megadeth <-- Watching his Instructional Videos got me learning Improvisation

Vernon Reid From Living Colour , Underrated Guitarist not alot of people heard of http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fxayo_Pxleo check out his Playing

The List goes on

Either Jimmi Page or Justin King. But that's just for guitarworthiness. I'd say Les Paul is one of my biggest inspirations, because:

1) He invented the electric guitar, and without that, we wouldn't have much modern music.
2) In addition to the guitar, he also created many important innovations in music, such as multi-track recording, as well as many types of effects, which have vastly affected recording and production.
3) He suffered having carpal tunnel syndrome, and yet, to this day, over the age of 80, he still plays a jazz club in Manhattan every Tuesday.

I think that's amazing; to contribute so much to music, and yet continue to pump out great music. That's my goal; to play music till the day I die.

John Mayer

My friend's older brother said he saw John Mayer in concert and in between songs he did some crazy improv stuff on guitar. He said he thought it was going to be some pussy concert lol (he was forced to go cuz of his girlfriend), but he said it turned out to be pretty cool.

Keith Urban is amazing, not just with guitar, but he's Australian, a surfer and hot. ^* what girl can't love him. Plus I know at least once he was voted number one guitarist in the world, but eh, who cares what the rest of the world thinks, he's amazing.

You can't vote #1 guitarist in the world. There's just too much to actually have a vote on it and deem someone #1. I can guarantee he's not #1 fastest.
