If you right-click on an image, there should be an option that says 'Copy Image'. Then paste (Ctrl+v) it onto your canvas. I know that in Photoshop, you can drag a layer from one image document onto another.

i kno but its not going into the backgound..its opening in a new window..not unto the actual canvas..likes its not blending into the background

if you have psp you just either right click and it says paste as new layer paste as new image and paste as new selection paste either as new layer or as new selection
