their thoughts rocket upward
then signal back down
is this what we wondered?
come see what we've found
with a foot pointing downward
fingers reaching for the stars
sending vibra into the earth
and wishes up to mars
we could break the barrier
and burst right through heaven
what lies behind what we've been driven
to want and to see
is this truly what we need?

their purpose gets distorted, like, wanting to discover a new people, or place, and getting there and taking advantage of it..

with a foot pointing downward

we just keep going towards the new and exciting..we get there, and we distort it.. our first intentions are in the right place, but the second ones arent.. but good intentions just keep coming and coming and coming.. and we might not make it out of some of our future self set challenges.. I mean, look at this part again

we could muck up "heaven" in the future or now in pursuit of further things for the traits of greed and envy. we are unsatisfied. will we ever be satisfied.
