I'm just wondering if any one else have a dream catcher hung near their bed. And if they believe in the story behind it. I have two. A small one above my headboard, and a giant one hanging on my window.
Random topic much? xD [Edit: Oh yeah, I just put them up cause they look nice. But I don't really believe in the stories behind it.] |

QUOTE Erm, they were pretty easy. I'm not sure how to start it anymore. But I had to do it for art class. We used cheap strings and such, not the usual ones for dreamcatchers. ^ Wow, that's pretty cool! |

I only put them up because they're so beautiful and because I like the story behind them. I don't really believe in the story, but it's nice all the same.

It is very beautiful. & bballchick1, if you're so interested, I think you can find some instructions online on how to make them? xD All you really need is a circle thing to hold it, and some strings. o_o |

I feel stupid. I've never heard of dream catchers before, what are they? Don't worry. A lot of people don't know about it! ![]() That's what it looks like! Dream catchers are suppose to help us with dreams. It was told that the "web of life" would catch our good dreams and let it be a part of our lives. The bad dreams would go through the hole and rid of. |

They catch dreams? Why would I want anything to catch my dream? It doesn't really catch your dream. QUOTE Dream catchers are suppose to help us with dreams. It was told that the "web of life" would catch our good dreams and let it be a part of our lives. The bad dreams would go through the hole and rid of. I have a dream catcher! It's really cool, the story and everything. That's pretty cool that you know how to make them. I'm going to post a link on how to make them. Since this relates to the topic at hand, I won't consider it advertising:
Dream Catchers You can always subsitute stuff, but that's pretty awesome! |

I remember when I was in Pre-K or something we made dream catchers out of paper plates and yarn. I wonder where mine went...
Anyways, no I don't have one and no I don't belive the stories, but they are beautiful. |

One of my really old friends, her name was Ashley. Her grandma came over once, she lives far away I don't remember where exactly. But she came by when me and my sister were over at my friends house. And her grandma got us all to sit down at the kitchen table and we made our own dream catchers. I still have it. It hangs on my closet door knob. I don't really believe in the stories behind it. But I think they look neat most of the time.

I've never made one at of yarn and a paper plate, I've only made the real thing.
The paper plate idea sounds fun for being little. My school sucked when I was that little. We always did work. |

I had a few that I made with some of my brother's origami paper! It's pretty fun to make, actually. Heh.
I made a dream catcher exclusively for my little bro, & it was hee-larious, no really it was. All of his "fortunes" ended up having thingys like "You will turn into a woman in your next life" and really quite strange phrases on them. |
