During the last week of school, I borrowed my friend's calculator for a few days because I lost mine and I needed it for some finals. BUT I lost her's too _unsure.gif. So she kept asking me for it on the last day of school, and I said I would get it to her as soon as I went to my locker, but as soon as the last bell rang I bolted out of there and never looked back. I hoped that over the summer she would have forgotten about it, but today she sent me this email:

Hey Lauren!

Hope you've been having a good summer. At the end of last year, I lent you my calculator. Do you still have it? If you do, could you let me know? This way I could have it before the school year heads into full swing.

Thanks!
Jessica H.

eeeek. Has this ever happened to you??? How do I tell her I lost it???

I would pay her back for it or just buy her a new one.

Like everyone else said, tell her and buy her another one. Unless she has one of those texas instrument calculators. Those cost like heck.

I mean, you lost 4 calculators. =/ Well I don't know if those were yours or someone else's....

But yeah, you should get her a new one (maybe a better one since hers wasn't that special) and get yourself one as well. XD.gif

Yeah I bought myself one... I'll just get her the same one... It was a TI 30 II or something like that. only like sixteen bucks.

Definitely go buy her the same one or better.

Omgawsh! I get so anal about my calculators!! Maybe she's like me! laugh.gif

Simply because,
1. I know how to operate the ones I have. (I have 2, Graphing Calc & Scientific)
2. I need them for all my classes! (Orgo, Labs & Calc)

Maybe the reason why I haven't lost any...is because I'm so dependant on that!

Even if it's inexpensive, it sort of takes time to actually master the functions and get the correct answers you're looking for from a calculator.

Hope everything works out! thumbsup.gif
Get that calculator for her.

Omg it's the end of the world! Such a dilemma. First of all, if you lose people's stuff so much, why do you still borrow things from them? Shouldn't you learn your lesson and buy your own stuff? >.<
