Inserting a layout, Using the S1 Type Options

I stopped using LJ a while back and decided to come back only to find that a whole lot of changes have been made. Including changes made to my original journal. Anyway I wanted to use this layout:

I am using the S1 type Style System on a free account. I simply tried pasting the layout into the overrides box and saved it. But it didn't seem to work? Any suggestions?

Try removing <style> at the very beginning of the coding. Let me know if that works.

I switched to the S2 Style System and finally got it looking how I wanted it to. Thanks anyway though Azarel. Just one more question though, does anyone know if it's possible to remove the navigation bar at the top? Is it possible if I am using the S2 Style System? Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Thanks heaps again.

Do you mean the grey navigation strip?
