i prefer natural nails...fake nails seem too fake and they look like claws lol!

Actually, if you do it right, it won't damage them. And I've seen really pretty acrylic nail tips.

However, I'd only do that for a special occasion, for everyday I wear them plain. _smile.gif

natural nails r good.

fake nails r also good. if ur not an athletic person i guess. i know lots of people where their nails look real. u don't have to get them to be 3 inches. u can get them shorter. i believe if i didn't play volleyball. i'd prbably have short fake nails.

for me its better cuz.... i don't feel embarrased when people see the cheese from cheese doodles that gets under my nail rolleyes.gif

and my real nails r always breaking. fake nails at least will be stronger without having to use some strength polish everyday.

and the obvious reason. they're cute tongue.gif

I've never had fake nails but this girl told me how the glue created mold on her nails so I'm officially freaked out about ever getting fake nails.

I wear the natural looking fake nails with a simple french manicure on them. Real nails are just so much work. I can keep them clean, but I hate trimming them to the excact shape, painting them, etc etc. I could get a manicure, but i don't always have the time.

Fake nails are nice, but they just get too annoying. But I think I have really pretty natural nails. It looks like I got them done at a nail salon, as a french manicure, wohoo!

Ugh, after the experience I've had w/ fake nails, I'm never getting them on again. I swear, they're such a pain in the ass, & besides, I got so tired of them, I didn't even care whether the nail looked messed up or not anymore.
So I prefer natural. :D

seriously! i got french tips once (it was the first time i'd been to a nail salon and i got really ripped off)...but you have to either get them filled in every time they grow or...ya know i never did figure out how to get them off, eventually they just crack off. but after they're off your nails are all soft! it's gross! and the guy that did it was really bad at it and i couldn't understand what he was saying....ugh $30 down the drain.......

Fake nails do look pretty, but they can rip your natural nail off when they break mellow.gif. Trust me I've learned the hard way.

I'm certainly not a fan, my nails are usually too small, therefore making it hard for me to find any that fit my nails.

I suppose they are okay for special occasions, but not everyday use. If they look natural, it's fine. But when it's obvious they're fake, then no. When you tell someone your nails are fake, and they are completely shocked, then it's okay.
