is there such thing as an invisible link as in like a space that you cant see but is a link?

because im making another div layout andthe main over lapping image already has the navigational links on it..so i was wondering if i could put invisible links over them so they can click the links

idk if that makes sence, but i dont think i can explain it any better so there ya go.

If you image sliced yes. But you would have to slice your entire layout. Then like if you want links on certain spots you can slice them.

you could image map if I'm understandind you correctly

Online Image Mapper

or it would be much easier if you had Photoshop's companion program: Imageready.
