The original VJ day was August 14, 1945, when a soldier and a nurse shared a passionate kiss in Times Square to celebrate the end of WWII. You've seen the picture, right?



Yesterday it was celebrated in New York, New York--the only remaining state where this day is remembered. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's sweet. You can watch a video about it on yahoo.com. Just type in the website and click "watch video." It's in the "featured" section.

Oh yeaaaah. I remember my teacher telling us about all these people claiming that the picture was of them. -shrugs- I just think it's a sweet picture.
