i'm reading a book called Stargirl. it's by Jerry Spinnelli. my teacher read it to us in fifth grade, but i don't recall anything, really. but my english teacher assigned it to us. today was the first day she assigned it. we had to read to the end of chapter five (pg. 26), although we are aloud to read farther. but, by choice i'm on chapter nineteen (pg. 100). lol. yeah... it's really good. i forget how it ends and i'm REALLY curious. i'd suggest it to you if you haven't read it already.

totally did a book report on that book in 6th grade! haha

I'm reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I can't read it in school. It has all this stuff about sex and drugs and my teachers walk around the room. haha

Re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban before the movie comes out, then its onto Lewis Carrol's Alice's Adventures in the Wonderland again. You'd be amazed at the amount of drug references in that book. Its a wonder Disney turned Alice into a children's movie.

Oh, and "Wuthering Heights" for school.

They are. Will Smith is in it.

As for Wuthering Heights, I hated that book. pinch.gif I like Charlotte Bronte better than Emily.

She had a sister that wrote too? Yech.

And yeah, the book is ass-loads of boring....it's such a soap-opera. yawn.gif

And it's good to see Will Smith making some good movie choices....after turning down the matrix and such. Sean Connery turned down the matrix as well to be in "The League of Extraordinary Gentleman". pinch.gif

lol... there were actually 3 of them. pinch.gif Charlotte, Ann, and Emily.

I think they cater more towards a more romantic, overly feminine mindset with their works. Charlotte's Jane Eyre is the only book of the three's writings that I enjoy. The rest make me bored to tears.

William Golding fool.

And that book owns.

And the little piggy kid gets owned too; quite possibly the best scene in that whole book.

it's an awesome book, mostly fantasy-type.

kinda like the lord of the rings, but i think it's better..

so far, i think there's a total of eleven books in the series, but it keeps continuing..i read until like the 7th book but stopped; i lost my place, so i'm starting over again. still good. happy.gif

i recommend it to anyone, it's so..good.

Right now i'm reading 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, but the last book i've read was 'The Purpose Driven Life'. It's the best book ever for all Christians out there. I highly recommend you read this book.

Also, that book 'The Da Vinci Code' needs to burn in hell. biggrin.gif

The last book I read was The Da Vinci Code, which is as great as everyone says it is, and that's why I'm wondering why the person above me said it needs to "burn in hell". _unsure.gif Anyways, I'm reading a Carl Wilcox murder mystery from Harold Adams at the moment, titled No Badge, No Gun. Hah. I bet no one has heard of him, but I stumbled across his series while at the library. Anyways, I'm also reading a graphic novel (does that count?), which is the first twenty issues of Spiderman comics. happy.gif

the last ones i've read was The Purpose Driven Life and Ten Thousand Sorrows.. Ten Thousand Sorrows is just awesome. true story about a Korean girl who grew up in a messed up family and went through so much. its really touching ^^.

i <3 reading books as long as they're not required. cant enjoy em and its hard to give it my full attention if its not something i want to do >.<
