What kind of tops/shirts are great this season?, Great enough to wear multiple times during the school yr* Options

So it's that time again, "back to school/middle/high school/college" shopping for new clothes and what not. I'm just wondering what kind of tops/shirts that are good enough to go w/ anything and good ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE YR.? oh and affordable not designer kinds..haha

polos are pretty much in, but i dont know about them being in the whole year. I'm seeing like alot of people start wearing like shirts that are long in length and tight. I think you can find them in like aero, ae and stores like that.

if it's for the whole year, i think that most of your stuff should be simple, so it doesn't look way too out of style, stuff like polo's and wifebeaters.

Band shirts never go out of style.

I wear tee shirts all year long and if its cold i jsut wear a hoodie over it. im really casual. you can get that stuff just about anywhere.

soft henleys go with most things. if you get short sleeved ones you can layer them with long sleeved shirts underneath, and then just wear the short sleeves in the summer.



get a blazer or a light fitted jacket. you can wear it by itself with a shirt in the spring, and layer hoodies underneath in the fall/winter.



and pencil skirts. they aren't too long for summer (depending where you live i guess) or spring, and you can wear tights underneath in the fall.

Yeah, but you can always find stuff for way cheaper. It gives you an idea of what to look out for, or what's in currently. According to them, anyways.

it really depends on your style like i usually wear leggings with a jean skirt and converse and a band t-shirt w/ a headband lol!! thats what im wearing now or like band t's and jeans and converse or vans slip ons! but it depends on your style i LIVE in hottopic! but yeah it depends! cause i buy ripped jeans from hollister too! lol i have a weird style!

I really just wear jeans and a normal t-shirt from like the gap or somewhere. I wear leggings and stuff too. Vans slip ons, flats. so on so on. I wear invader zim stuff like their patches and I have a bag I carry around and necklance charms with them on it..

I think you should go buy teen magazines though. Since school is coming back they have a lot of like school clothes lists and such.

Check Seventeen, teen vogue, elle girl and stuff like that.
if you go to a book store its all under fashion, just find ones that have like fashion school or something along those lines

check aeropostale, ae, even regular department stores like penneys/mervyns/nordstroms, etc.

i polos and they are a classic u pretty much can never go wrong with them but then again also henleys with camis, and basic t-shirts from H&M or Gap for example are great all the time.
