This issue with the top of the girl's face on the layout doesn't look like it is due to the ad. You can even see over the add but the top half of her face is missing. Is there a way to adjust the margins or something. It looks right on this site, but when it is put into myspace you basically get from just above her chin down.

You can't . Its a background image. If you took it out from being a background image. Then put it in a div and positioned it down. That would work. But it wouldn't be full screen.
