Lately, this past summer my jaw has been locking whenever I eat or yawn. It doesn't hurt, it's just that my mouth can't open as wide as it normally would. It's so embarassing whenever I eat in front of people because it makes it seem like I'm a sloppy eater, since I have to gradually stuff the food in my mouth without it falling back out.
 Has anyone else had a jaw locking problem? If so, can you please tell me your experiences? And is there a certain method where I could temperaily unlock my jaw? |

This happened to my friend. She did some exercises with her jaw. Basically opening it every which way possible. It helped her a bit. After a week it got better though.

Ya, that happens to me sometimes. Only, like one side
of my jaw locks and so I can still get away with eating normally. But I have to only chew on one side... Its weird. I don't like it. :( |

 I've never heard of jaw locking, but it seems quite uncomfortable.
