Hi there,

I recently started up a xanga in the hopes of turning it into a showcase of just how many great designs have been cooked up for the xanga blog system, similar to cssgarden or styegala, even createblog. So, anyway, I'm the process of designing the layout for said xanga and I'm hopping you guys, being some of the best in Xanga customization, would have some critiques of it.

I'm especially curious to see if it even looks proper in IE, as I've only tested in in Firefox.

Comments & critiques would be very appreciated.

To BonneVache

Cheers.

Looks great! I love the idea and the colors.

In IE, everything is aligned - only thign it the vertical scrolllbar - I think you could get rid of that. Also, you ought to consider changing the scrollbar colors for IE users.

Je l'aime! Bravo!

Yea I'll get on that in the next update to the code (being lazy I update the entire thing once every so often as I tweak the graphic as well, other wise I'd be making small changes constantly and driving myself nuts....OCD! ^_^ ).

---update---
I've revamped the layout, 72% more vertical space to the content boxes to allow more content without vertical scrolling. I've also added the IE scroll-bar colors but I don't know who they look since I can't view them on my machine.
---update---

I'm glad you guys like it, I'm hoping that means you'll submit your designs. thumbsup.gif

It has a nice feel to it, but in my browser (uses IE) the blog is incorrectly aligned and the boxes to the far right are overflowing. I don't know if theyre supposed to do that but personally I don't like it. The layout once again is very sleek and modern looking. User friendly and easy on the eyes IMO. Good Job.

Firefox is my friend... IE is not. happy.gif

Overflowing Vertically? If so, there isn't much I can do, the nature of the layout is to be thin and wide so vertical overflow becomes necessity when a lot is in the divs.

Which way?(up, down, left, right?) Care to screenshot it for me? >>Doesn't have IE to test<<
