Does anybodies school use laminated cards (like a business card) instead of the usual plastic kind (like in credit cards) for the student ids?

Um, no. My school doesn't have ID's. Which is terrible because you can't get a lot of cool discounts and stuff.

I used to have those as lunch cards back in 5th grade. Then in 6th grade, we just entered our student ID. We have the normal credit-card looking ones now. You lose it, you lose.

I go to private school and we have a cafe so we use our ID's as credit cards. They are the credit card type with our names, grade, and picture. We also get cool discounts at the apple store and various other stores like jackson's music store.

I've always had the plastic IDs, except for elementary school. We had laminated ones back then.

Hmm we had school ID's free discount at movie theatres but I didn;t wanna waste 4 dollars on an ID...cheap huh lol but we had lunch cards..things I didnt use cuz lunch was nasty at my school

At all of my schools, we've always used the plastic credit-card-type ones. I like them, mostly because it gets us discounts at the movies.

no, we have the credit card ones... cheap credit cards, that is.
it doesn't have much use. two dollars off movies and i think discount off the bus but haven't really tried. |

My school has the laminated IDs, but we barely use them. Only time we use them is if you get in trouble or you don't have enough money for lunch and you want to pay them back tomorrow. Other than those things, they're pretty useless, I haven't even used mine for anything except for show lol.
