how do you block people from looking at files on your site?
Like this: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /images/ on this server. On a Unix server, you'd turn off read/execute permissions for the "Other" bit.

I'm not totally sure, but what if you set the permissons to " rw------- (600) " <<Owner Read/Write<< , using an ftp program like cyberduck. Most ftp programs will allow you to set a files permissons.
