(If possible could my first topic be re-opened and place this in there, i dont want to create multiple topics and get in trouble o.o!)
Using Photoshop CS and Imageready So i have this layout that i made that i would like to use for my myspace. Problem is ive never done anything of this sort, first timer yes. Ive read tutorials online which put things in a nice way in which i understand the basic concept but i still cant seem to get it. Ive sliced up each picture, "who i be", "comments" areas and the navigation buttons. Went to save it as an html and images. Then it created that folder with the images which had a bunch of stuff i didnt want sliced or didnt slice at all (including the things i sliced) and when i opened the html file it just gave me a sliced part of my picture. Whats the right way i should go about doing this??? Here's what ive done so far. What next or is this wrong? |

1. Please don't double post. You can use the edit link at the bottom of you first post.
2. Your image does not load. Try using imageshack rather than Photobucket. 3. When you're done mapping the images in Imageready and preview everything in a web browser, the codes for the images and links should be given to you. If not, you can get it from the source. Right-click on the page>>View>>Source in Internet Explorer or right-click>>View Page Source in Firefox. |

Ok when you sliced it up, they make the whole thing into a bunch of slices. What you need to do is go to imageshack, like Mona said, then you upload each one there and copy the direct image url. Then you place the image urls in the html code. Then your doing it right. Then you can put the final code in your myspace. |

Oh ok. So once i change the file names to the direct links i just copy and paste all that code into my myspace and it will work? I thought i needed a div layer or something? And sorry about the double post.

Yea it will work. You only need to put that code in a div , if you want to positon it. But you do need a div to position your content into it.
