i noticed that some people changed their myspace url

ex: www.myspace.com/cutie

i was wondering if anyone knew the code to change it.

You can only set your myspace username once (changing it from the numbers). If you have already set it, the only way to get a new username would be to make a new myspace.

Or do you mean that the person has changed how their myspace username is displayed on their profile?

no i mean as in the actual url.

ex: www.myspace.com/cutie

and it can be changed to:

www.myspace.com/sweetie

I dont know if this is related to her problem at all, but sometimes I notice a glitch when I access my homepage where, instead of my fixed URL, it says, 'Click here to pick your URL!' as if I hadn't already. I didn't click on it, assuming this was one of MySpace's (many) glitches, but perhaps by clicking on it you can change it again? =/

You're right in that it's a glitch. If you refresh the page, it usually fixes itself. I'm sure that you can't change your myspace url after you have already set it.

happinessx, yeah! That happened to me.. I thought, "Woah!! Cool.." but then I have my url on a bunch of graphics so I didn't click it.

I think it was just a glitch.

But I don't think you can change your myspace url 2 twice, just deal with it I guess.

Yes, it was just a glitch. A minor myspace problem. Some people report it and they fix it quickly.

Also theres no possibly why in doing that
unless you take the coding for the url box and make a div overlay and just change the url with in it so it looks like the real one..

Thats the only way I can think of.

ey i'm lookin for that .. cuz i seen on some myspaces they ain't got the friend id number n alla that stuff in their address bar .. they changed it to somethin else, know wat i mean. do u know how they did that?

you mean get a custom url

there should be something where its highlighted blue on this image for you to change your url so its not numbers

na i got my own custom url.
but wat i'm tryna say is u know when u go to ppls myspace they got that url in their address bar that looks like this http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...p;friendid=6221 .. urs doesn't urs looks like this http://www.myspace.com/thisconfession .. u don't have ur friend id on there .. so no one knows it .. know wat i'm sayin, that's wat i'm lookin for (i wanna hide my friend id) so did u do somethin to trick out urs or somethin?

theres no way to change the url from what it says on your front page or as the link, unless you haven't made a custom url
