I wouldn`t even mind rereading it. laugh.gif clap.gif So if you need a good book to read, pick this one! [403 pages, respectively.] Has anyone else read this book? Your comments would be awesome _smile.gif

i saw that at borders. it was a "buy 3 for the price of 2" but i didn't want to buy three. so it's good? can you tell me what it's about before i put it on my "must-read" list? (not that i have an actual list or anything but it's in my head)

It`s about this girl who goes to a boarding school and tells pretty much everything that happens to her there. She has a crush on tihis one guy...blablabla... talks about her friends and everything in between.
It`s a great book, my summary sucks but it`s nothing like the book. _smile.gif

BUUUMP.

So I'm reading the book now. I like it so far. It's pretty good. It stood out to me when I was looking through the books at the bookstore. XD.gif I like feeling the cover, rofl. Okay, that was irrelevant..

I thought she was a stupidass for liking Cross Sugarman. If anyone remembers, before she officially met Cross during the Secret Holiday, she was wondering what was so special about him. And right after having a nice day with him, BOOM obsessive crush. I think girls our age have a tendancy to fall "in love" with a guy who was nice/sweet to us (or pretending) instead of falling "in love" with a guy for who they really are.

^THANK YOU. worthy.gif

She's stupid, which is (sadly) normal for a girl, but she's still stupid. I mean COME ON, she should've told him. And that interview? What a joke.

I know I've had this rant before, but I'm glad someone else thinks she was a dumbass too. happy.gif

Haha, no worries. When I was at the bookstore, my friend actually tried to grab the cover thinking there was a real cute belt on top. _smile.gif

yeah, i completely agree tho. i didn`t like how they had a relationship during her time there, and then after they just stopped talking. blink.gif that was stupid.

It wasn't even a relationship! It was a "nightly" f**k. Martha (that was her name right? I kinda forgot) did a poor job as a best friend, though I admired her for being honest about whether she could imagine Lee and Cross as a couple. She should've told them to stop and told Lee what she was doing with him was an unhealthy relationship...

besides..

I WANTED LEE AND THAT LOCAL GUY WHO WORKED AT THE CAFETERIA TO HOOK UP!!!!

I KNOW! Dude reading the reviews at the back, you'd think Lee was a sophisticated, smart young woman (especially since one of the reviewers said it offered lots of teenage wisdom...). But she was dumb, naive, and desperate.

Gosh, I didn't like her either. She was so... ugh.

But I must admit that as much of an ass that Cross was, I still had a little crush on him. Okay, a big crush. He's hot.
