i need to fix/over-paint some of it though.
i can see part of the underpainting on the jar and both the jar and the bowl are kind of lopsided and out of proportion <--however that's spelled haha.
anyways this is my first oil painting; i'm taking a class this summer... it's fun :D

Looks great, I really like the color of the bowl it stands out to me. Everything looks smooth as well.

I like the contrast of the objects to the background, and you did a great job on shading. For your first one, that's great.

i like how you did your background. it gives me this smooth swoosh feeling.

AND, it's blue. that's my favorite color.
